Wow!! I have gone to the dogs. I see you have made a drawing of me meeting my old dog. He was excited to see me as I was to see him. I didn't see him much after that day but he was and still is in the great care of my Bubbee and Zaydeh who look after him. I still see him from time to time.
I see that Father Murray has made an introduction for your new drawings. I like the cartoons of me. I never imagine I would be a cartoon but whatever you feel is best for representing me is fine with me. I'm assuming you will be drawing the rest of the gang that I still hang around with. Let's see; I look forward to seeing Cartoons of Sonny, Lady Diana, Elvis, Dr. Tom (Dr. yes), Father Murray and more. Be prepared for criticism but I think it will be a good thing and you can make my adventures fun to see in full color.
I am the same Ol' Mike and in the many years now that I have been here, I have aged, or not aged to be honest. Instead, I have gained some wisdom and awareness.
Again, the drawings are excellent and I wish you the best at conveying what I experienced. Have fun and don't be a stranger. Our door is open 24/7...just don't wake us if its in the middle of the night. (smiling)
Love,
Mike

Dear one and all,
I'm back. James asked if I would like to say something tonight, and I raised my hand and waved.
I was telling him that I have an interesting story about the building process here. I have told you a few other stories in the past but I thought you would want to know more. As you know, I am 'living' in a nice house. It literally takes very little maintenance on my part which I like. I was never one to spend a lot of time caring for a home (on Earth) but I did my best; I did 'clean up branches and had brush fires, and vacuum once in a while.' That's what James tells me.
The story I have today is actually more about interior decorating (in Heaven). I decided I wanted to add a wing on the house. No, not wings but a wing. I don't really need a wing but I thought if any of the family wishes to come for a visit, I'd have more room. I did have four bedrooms upstairs. I was using one as an exercise room but I never exercise in it. I am busy enough during the day that I have no time to spend in this room. But I liked the idea of an exercise room. I also have a theatre in another. Anyway, I am getting away from my point. I added a wing not long ago. I first created a 3D model of exactly, and I mean exactly, what I wanted. I ordered small furniture, small curtains, draperies, mirrors, carpets, wall paper and hanging pictures (paintings mostly). I decided to add artwork from the family. Dad or your grandfather or great- grandfather to Emily has some paintings in the hall ways of the new wing and in some of the bedrooms. What is interesting is the model also has little ceiling lights and table lamps that actually function. I made little light switches on the walls. It's like a very well built Barbie doll house. No , I don't have barbie dolls in place. Now, with the miniature wing made, I had exactly what I wanted without guessing or assuming I would get what I wanted. You would be supposed what appears or solidifies when you wish for an addition on a house here. You get things that you do not like but you can simply except it or change it. I found that taking the time to look through catalogs or books and picking out all the elements that go into each room forces you to pick out exactly what you want. Maybe its being selfish but its a way to get precision when you build. Maybe its like being an interior decorator there on Earth when your job is to talk to the owner and find out exactly what they want in their home, down to the last details.
That is my story and I am sticking to it. I hope you enjoyed my little adventure in interior decorating 101 in heaven.
Love,
Bob
